HP P4000 VSA/FOM for Hyper-V now available!

After nine months, HP announced on 6 September that a Hyper-V version of their P4000 VSA (and Failover Manager) are now available!

Thank GOD!  I can now tear down those VMware servers I was using for Failover Manager….

    Hi,

    Did you install Failover Manager for Hyper-v,

    I am just looking for the steps of deploying it. Can you provide me detailed step you performed for that?

      Yes, we are currently using the Hyper-V FOM.
      Installation instructions are provided in the link I posted above, starting at page 17.

    Cant get it to finish shutdown on Hyper-V 2012

      I think we had this problem too (unfortunately I can’t check because we’ve replaced our HP SANs with Dell EqualLogic). If I remember correctly, we fixed this by making sure we had the latest FOM from the HP website.
